Hi Folks,
Do you need to make PDF files so others can read your handouts? I occasionally run into issues where people cannot read my handouts as they do not have compatible Microsoft Home Office software or MAC sofware.
To get around this problem, I convert the offending document into the common "Portable Document Format" (PDF) format.
You can download a free PDF converter program at this URL
http://www.primopdf.com
To install the PDF generator, do the following
a) Click on the link and download the program. (It is free of spyware)
b) Follow the instructions to install.
c) To print in PDF - simply open a file and then select print.
d) When the print menu comes up, select the "PRIMOPDF" option which will then print the file into an electronic PDF file in the location that you specify on your computer.

| PDFCreator is an open source utility that installs as a printer and can be used to produce PDF files from any Windows application. |
