This message provides a set of ideas that you can use to help your pack earn the Disability Awareness badge.
BLUE STAR: DISABILITY AWARENESS BADGE
This posting provides the following:
a) Badge requirements
b) Suggested activities for the youth to accomplish this badge
This badge is a tremendous opportunity for you to bring guest speakes into your pack meeting. Whether it be someone with a physical disability, blindness or someone who needs to use ASL - you will see your cub youth completely absorbed as they learn how others with disabilities overcome challenges in order to live a normal life.
